Those of you who read my travels will know that my hometown club Canterbury City have re-formed this season after dropping out of the Kent League in 2000 due to their Kingsmead home being sold.
The club have started in the Kent County League Division 2 East which is 3 divisions below Kent League(Level 5) and are playing their "home" matches at the Bridge recreation ground for the next couple of years before they return to the City once a stadium is built.
It's very much a community club and are running 7 teams this year.
First game they won 5-0 at "home" with an amazing gate of 180 where they produce a programme that wouldn't be out of place in the Ryman League, gates in this league would normally be one man and his dog !
Second game at "home" they won 4-1 and today they won 9-0 at Tentderden Town with striker Wayne Fittall scoring his Third consecutive hat-trick.
Keep looking for updates throughout the season... _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Nothing can stop the mighty City now. My mate Steve may have played his last game for the club as he wasn't picked yesterday and he's moving to London.
Super Wayne for England I say. What a player!! |

Just a draw for City yesterday at home to APM Mears, but Wayne Fittall scored again to take it 10 goals in 4 games.
Roystone Gough was on soccer am yesterday in the MMS video clips with his superb overhead kick against Woodstock Park, but scooer am let themselves down by calling it sunday league.. _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Also like to mention a cracking scrap at the end. My brother was there and said a Mears player landed one on a City player straight after the game and in the shower afterwards!!
Police were called as he also tried to run him over in the street as he left the ground too.
Just goes to show some people take their football very seriously even at that level!!! |

As fascinating as your "wank-bank" may be, can I, politely, remind you that this is an FC St.Pauli message board?
Whilst we have no rules here, one of the expectations is that members will be "anti-fascist and, therefore, anti-racist, anti-homophobic and anti-sexist".
Perhaps you'd had a sniff of the nearest bar-towel - let's leave it at that!!

After last weeks assault on Wayne Fittall, Wayne scored again in City's 1-0 win over Otford to make it 11 goals in 5 games and now a record of Played 5, Won 4 Drawn 1 , scored 20 conceded 2.
Away at Otford next week, but City have another 3 games on the bounce at home, would be nice to get to another away or two ! _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Canterbury's superb start continued today with a 3-0 away win at Platt United.
Simon Austin with the honours scoring all three, shock horror as Wayne Fittall didn't score.
@DaveHammer- Steve W had a cracking game apparantly, ask him at work on Monday _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Another storming win for Canterbury City as the walloped UK Paper 7-0 with two more hat-tricks from Bonneywell & Austin with a solo from superhero Royston Gough.
Now top with 19 points from 7 games with a total of 5 hat-tricks for the club this season.
Well done City.. _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Time to bring this top the top again as Canterbury City have today secured Promotion from the Kent County League Div.2 East in their inaugural season back.
Promotion to Div.1 East means that the club will now be at Intermediate status rather that Junior status as per Div.2
A phenomenal achievement in their first season back in football and with attendances at home matches that top some Ryman league clubs that are around 4 stages higher.
Congrats to all concerned with the re-born club, know thay my old man would have been proud if he'd still been with us. _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |
