if any of you follow a team on a semi regular basis, how much do you reckon is an average day out?
mine,FC at home, bus £10.00,game£7.50 beer+prog+fanzine£20.00 so about £37.00. my old seat at old trafford?? £39.00!!!
Never thought tickets for United were that unreasonable (prior to 2005 and in comparison to other Premiership sides that is). Most I ever paid at OT was £32 (actually looking at that figure, it is an obscene amount of money) for the Milan game in the south stand and generally on average it was about £25 in the last season I went. I never spent much more than that as I can’t handle my beer that well. Admittedly at FC I probably get my whole day out for the price of a brief at OT in 2005 but ye gods, Blackburn do alright don’t they at £15?!? Top level of the pyramid and only double ours! Sadly I think in general English football is overpriced. All the European greats, Milan, Barcelona, St Pauli are all about a third of the price in comparison to their English counterparts.
Leeds by example – in answer to your question, we do alright. Its dropped from the first season (when I think a lot of people were in two minds/inquisitive) but we’re holding pretty steady at 2.5k for home attendances. Following a premiership side, you probably have the odd spare Saturday these days so come on down for a peek. If your username is in reference to your geographical location, we’re playing Bradford PA away in the FA Trophy early next month which might be a bit easier to get to.

£6:20 for 3 teas and a packet of crisps at SJP on Sunday.
How the fuck did Douglas Hall make a loss when his company ran the catering? Hang on Les.....it couldn't be that he didn't make a loss but the profits were somehow transfered into his Gibralter-based company? Nooooo. That would make him a crook surely? Can't be right then.
