Started in the '80s with Line (kiss kiss where ever you are) She's gone but St Pauli remain.
My enthusiasm for 'the boys in brown' passed to other Maggies working in Sunderland but we're from Newcastle. One of us speaks fluent German and has contacts in Hamburg.
We are all season ticket holders at NUFC _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Sometimes go in the Bodega but usually in The Bacchus on High Bridge or The Punchbowl in Jesmond and taxi it in for kick off. If hungover from night before tend to go to Marc Toney's on Percy St for tea and bacon sandwiches!
Not sure what we're doing before the Pompey game yet though.
Should be in Bodega next Friday 10/2/06 at least for part of the evening then The Forth and Head of Steam. My social life in a nutshell! _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Do you ever go in the Irish Centre in Gallowgate? Thinking about the Celtic connection - obviously you do!!! Some good bands/events etc. Might be an idea to think about a FC St Pauli/Celtic meet-up some time in the future....... _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Wolftones don't seem to be at the Irish Centre next week - checked the Centre's website and thursday's Chronicle. They are on tour though.
Hope the weekend's going well. _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Read your postings about Hamburg at the weekend. Sounds like a blast!
As I said earlier I'm out & about in town on Friday - I'll put The Irish Centre to the vote. We're a mixed sex bunch so should get signed in OK. Whatever, I'll be wearing a St Pauli t shirt or my brown and white retro jacket (and be pissed!) Keep taking the Lemsips and/or Jack Daniels and I might see you then. _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Did you see the guy in the Bodega last night with the Turbonegro t-shirt on? It wasn't a St Pauli one though. Lucky I saw you last night, only 4 of us decided to stay in there! The Durham Brewery 'Magus' was like f***ing p**s & usually I love it.
I'm in Amsterdam week beginning 10/4/06 otherwise i'm up for the Wolfetones!
Keep the Faith

Reviving a (very) old thread to officially rule myself out of the running for the vacant Newcastle United manager's job.
You heard it here first, not on Sky Sports News.
