It's not exactly hunting-glory though, is it? _________________ The English have all the material requisites for the revolution. What they lack is the spirit of generalization and revolutionary ardour. - Marx

The old question: do Man u supporters come from Manchester?
In the Sun newspaper (gotta be the MOST reliable source!):
Manchester United are bottom of the league for home-grown supporters, according to research. Just one in five fans of the Premier League title-holders comes from Manchester.
And minnows Hull City topped the league — with 88 per cent of supporters living in the area (who else is going to support Hull!!!)
Researchers for Top Up TV, who quizzed 1,042 supporters across the UK, found bigger clubs had wider fanbases.
Liverpool had just 22 per cent local fans, while Chelsea scored 49 per cent and Arsenal 53.
Topping the league for support behind Hull were Stoke City, Wigan Athletic and Newcastle. Hull fan Jack Hornby said: “Everyone knows Man United fans are fair-weather supporters who come from London, America or Japan.” Oh, and North Wales! _________________ Military justice is to justice what military music is to music.

I do not really see the point in surveys such as this. Next they will be telling us that clubs with bigger support bases tend to have more money to spend on players! |
