Hi folks - first post here, but I've been lurkin' for a while now. Just to say that - whoppee! - now that matches are no longer rapidly 'ausverkauft', I'm coming over from London with my wife for this one.

It's be great to meet up with anyone else going over for this, or anyone who is local. This is not only our first time at the Millerntor, it's our first time in Hamburg. Fwiw my German's fairly rudimentary, enough to get me by, but if anyone wants a sensible conversation with me it'll have to be in English I'm afraid... Anyway, do leave a post here or drop me a PM if you fancy meeting up.

A quick question ('scuse ignorance) on this thing about actual dates and times not being confirmed. The official site still says 22-25 Feb for the date, but my tickets definitely say 22 Feb 18:00. Hopefully I can take this as definitive?? If not it makes travel plans a nightmare.

Can't wait!

(We're diehard Brentford FC fans btw, but don't hold it against us...)

It seems that the games up to matchday 19 are confirmed but 20 and beyond are still not finalised. Furth is 21.

Hopefully it will be the Friday, but there's no guarantee

Does anyone know when it will get confirmed?
as thats when i will book my flight.
and how do i get tickets, can i get them online? (also a first time poster)

Was in hamburg for a weekend during world cup (argentina V ivory coast match), superb city.

If the games on the fri might go on the thurs to catch the UEFA cup game with Hamburg v FC Zurich, then the main event on the Fri night (hopefully).

Well, I'm definitely coming in for this. My first game the Millentor. I've got the tickets that say "Freitag, 18:00 Uhr".

But yeah...

Incidentally Attila (good friend of mine) gives all his repects to the folks at the Fanladen.

Hi also hoping to coming across for this as my first FC St Pauli game. Realistically do people think this game might be on the Monday evening? As I'm facing a job of getting that off work currently! I notice that St Pauli are yet to feature on a Monday evening this year, and games typically tend to feature the bigger 2. Liga clubs/top-of-the-league clubs, but with Greuther-Fürth 5th I guess there's a nagging possibility it might still be the Monday evening :S!

Hi brentford pete,

I'm an English Middlesbrough (such is the luck of life) fan and Pauli fan living in Hamburg. I can recommend The Shamrock Irish bar on Feldstrasse before the game. It's a mix of British and German Pauli fans and a good friendly atmosphere...oh and of course Sky Sports.

make sure you take a boat trip on the Alster and if you fancy watching the football on a Saturday, they show live primiership games at 16.00 in the pub above.

Enjoy Hamburg!!

Yep, I do. Hugely. Though it was coincidence that the trip combined with the Celtic thing.
