I have searched the site and cannot find any information regarding match day switches.

There are a couple of us planning to come over in March and want to book our travel. The Easter weekend game is advertised for a Sunday, how often are these game changed top another day and what days are they ie Friday before etc.

I want to plan for every eventuality of it being switched.

Many Thanks

NLV

The fixture times and dates are usually allocated in batches of 5 match days a couple of months in advance. The thing about the Easter weekend is that the games which would usually be on the Friday are moved forward to the Thursday.

Usually the latest fixture timings are posted here pretty much as soon as they're announced.

Cheers Zim

I will have to see whether to risk it in buying train/plane tickets and hope it's on a Sunday or wait till that particular fixture is confirmed then buy a more expensive train/plane ticket.

I know it's not concrete but are most games on a Sunday anyway?

Ta

Yeah, there are usually 2 or 3 games on the Friday and one on the Monday - the rest are on Sunday. It's unlikely to be on the Monday, as DSF shows that game live, so it's usually the most "attractive" game, i.e., one involving at least one of the top teams.

Last Easter weekend a group of us popped over to Hamburg for the away game against H$V (A). It was postponed twice (at least) and eventually took place on the Wednesday evening before Easter I think. Mad We'd booked to be in Hamburg from the Friday to the Monday and didn't actually see a game! Still had a great time though. Cool
Undeterred we're planning to come over for the home game against Osnabruck scheduled for the Easter weekend. Laughing

Does anyone know when the next batch of fixtures (other than the Koeln & Jena matches already scheduled) will be confirmed?

We were hoping it would have been the end of last week. It should be any day now. I think part of the hold up is Uefa not confirming the dates for the next round

I thought you might appreciate this clip from Vale / Bolton in the late 80s featuring some classic commentary from the legendary Dave Higson.
