) is organising this event - as detailed below:

Hello,

Herewith, we would like to invite you to the 1st European Football Fans’ Congress that is taking place in London, on July 6th 2008.

The event is jointly organised by the Football Supporters International network of which the Football Supporters Federation, the biggest independent fans’ organisation in England is a core group member and responsible for the coordination both of the FSI network and the European Football Fans’ Congress.

We want as many football supporters from all over Europe as possible to come to this event to discuss about and tackle issues relevant to football fans like ticketing, policing and stadium bans, racism&other forms of discrimination and the ways to fight it, club ownership and much more. We want to use this Congress to kick it off in order to make sustainable changes to this modern football by identifying common issues and differences between football supporters in Europe and work towards the establishment of an independent, democratic and representative network by and for genuine football fans in Europe.

Where the organisation goes from here is up to you. It is your collective decision what this network can become and be about.

So make sure you take part in the Congress and forward this invitation on to all the football supporters you know that may be interested in coming to the event!

I've registered Sir Roger and myself for this event on Sunday July 6th at the Emirates Stadium - no jokes about us going up the "Arse" please!!!!!!! - and just to make it more interesting we are representing...............YOU!!! (FC S.Pauli Fans UK). Well, I didn't like to leave that box blank Embarassed

Any one else up for it? We could all wear our colours and take over World Football......or not, as the case may be Rolling Eyes

Talking to Dani at the FSF local meeting on 'Gam£ 39' (see thread below on this section of the board) and I mentioned that I might attend - depending on logistics i.e. getting back to Newcastle on the Sunday night at a vaguely reasonable hour. Make a weekend of it maybe?

If so are you willing to send some to me to have them included in the next issue of "Der Übersteiger"?

Only thing I can offer is an honourable mention in our next issue.
