Schalke would be my choice on purely football grounds. Looks like you need to register here to buy online:

Bremen is obviously the easiest journey, but Berlin is great. One of the best cities I've visited. Not sure about Hertha though.

If you're going to Hertha, then better "incognito". Confused

Not hearing good things about Hertha from a variety of sources Sad

SV Babelsberg or TEBE Berlin have been suggested but unfortunately their fixtures don't fall for us.

Genuinely unsure now, got a weekend pass but don't know how to use it!

Any St Paul fans fancy a kickabout on the Saturday instead? We are 3/5th's of a rubbish over 35 five-a-side team! Shocked

That leaves us with 3 options, a Saturday trip to either:

Hertha Berlin
Shalke 04 or
Werder Bremen?

Any tips, suggestions on which would be the best to go to?

Hi Nick,

Unless I've confused the DFB website you seem to have overlooked the H$V II v. FC Union Berlin game at 14:00hrs on 3rd May, which is still awaiting confirmation? In fact both the DFB and Kicker sites aren't confirming any regionalia matches due from 05/04/08 inclusive yet... So it looks as if Fortuna Dusseldorf may still be on for you too?

Nico 4 are you still going to this game? Ive asked for a ticket from the Fanladen and they say there are tickets on the Gegengerade so Ive gone for that. Think you have to pick up tickets between 2 and 4 so if you fancy meeting up there and then having a couple of bevvies let me know.

Just dusting down my brown scarf as we speak!

Looking forward to it. Heiko has also been kind enough to sort us tickets on the Gegengerade, I'l PM you nearer the time and hopefully we can meet up.

We are going down to Bremen for their game on the Saturday afternoon, but are geting a late train so we can sleep off the hangover!

If any/either of you want to meet up during the game, Ms. Zim and I stand at the bottom right corner of the Gegengerade - right at the fence if we're lucky. Depending on the weather, I'll be wearing the long dark-reddish coat or the tatty green jacket. Just look out for a hairy couple with glasses, probably swearing loudly in English. Very Happy

Officially, I work until 6 on Friday, but since tomorrow's a holiday and Friday afternoons are generally dead, I hope to make it for kick-off. If not, there's always the Treff afterwards. Wink

Go to the South Stand, head towards the main road, cross over at the traffic lights and head down Detlev Bremer Strasse. It's about 150 yards down on the left.
