Over here. Harvey's (from Lewis near Brighton) Armada Ale. Its a sort of special summer beer - really hoppy and goes down a treat. _________________ Geschunden durch den (Hamburg) Sport Verein....Samstag ist Selbsmord |

Well, assuming I get over to the Aachen game with the other SE/London reprobates this not-so-young man's springtime fancy will be a (good) few bottles of Maibock.
Unfortunately, like a St Pauli winning streak it is only produced for a few weeks of the year... _________________ Lover, Poet, Philosopher, Drunk and Bore...All in five easy pint shaped pieces. |

Being a Kentish lad, I'm particularly partial to Shepherd Neame, especially Spitfire and Masterbrew. Their 1698 celebration ale was best of the bunch though. I also like Harvey's and Broadside and proper Fullers London Pride and Rebellion. Actually, come to think of it, most real ales appeal to me! I used to visit Essen quite a lot in my youth and the Dampf brewery turned out some good stuff.
Getting thirsty now..................................off to open a beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!! _________________ Honest it's true......a bloke in the pub told me!

Hey, kingswood pirate, is that your Rovers scarf in the St Pauli Eck? Partial to a pint of Thatchers myself, though the Cheddar Valley looks radioactive, so I drink the traditional. You can always tell the scrumpy drinkers in the Long Bar. They're the ones sitting quietly, dribbling, with silly grins, trying to catch imaginary flies!
Phil Bater was my best mate in junior school - good lad.

In Worthing about 20 years ago I was drinking some bottled stuff from the Steam Brewry, but never saw it after that. Being mainly a lager drinker I don't really go in for real ales much, but you can't go wrong with a bottle of Astra |
