Hi, I'm new here, I follow Bohemians of Dublin, and I travel to see alot of games of clubs in places I have formed connections to, for example Frankfurt & Hamburg. Like many I have always had a soft spot for St Pauli

I'm arriving in Frankfurt that evening, wont be in time to make the Wehen-St Pauli game, but would like to meet St Pauli fans. Will any fans be going out/staying over in Wiesbaden or Frankfurt that night? I usually go out in Frankfurt as will be staying there and travelling very early to Hannover on the saturday, but Wiesbaden isnt far so could drop in there from the airport very easily if that's where the fans will be hanging out

Al.

After away games most St Pauli fans normally head straight for the train station, often with a police escort. I'll be staying over in Wiesbaden, and there may be a handfull of others, but if you can't make the match the best place to meet St Pauli fans is likely to be at Wiesbaden station as they make their way home.

Ok, thanks for that. I thought maybe there might be some staying around because it will be late and Hamburg is a long trip. Would be a laugh with the Eintracht fans on the train saturday morning Wink I think the Hannover train is the one that also goes to Hamburg Razz

Welcome to the board Alphonso. I always look for Bohemians results, infact I phoned the club and supporters club and asked about coming over for a game (tickets etc). Hopefully in the near future. Cheers.

Cheers pal. Hope you make it over, tickets are always easy on the gate, except for one or two games, maybe one or two more this season if Bohs do very well, season has just begun, 3 wins out of 4 so far Smile

yep, I will, though no ticket yet. and actually thinking of staying the night in that area, as there is an Irish Brigade gig close by on Saturday, afterwards back to Hamburg. Where in Wiesbaden will you stay?

@Alphonso: I am over to Dublin about 2-3 times a year, didn't see a footie match there yet... (GAA stuff only ;) ) would be happy to join you one day.

Hi Alphonso - was at the Bohs v Finn Harps game last Friday night. Enjoyed the 3-0 win and also liked the stadium. Had a good drink in the Bohemian Bar before the game with an old guy called Michael at the bar - very friendly and welcoming - He didn't have a good word to say about Shamrock Rovers fans though!!! Very Happy

GAA would be my first choice, Bohs 2nd. Let me know if you're coming over again. We have 2 Schalke-Bohs fans! Not sure if we have any Deutsche-Dubs fans?

No mate I was in Dublin for a weekend of Guinness and I have always had a bit of a soft spot for the Bohs so took the opportunity. With your summer league I will hopefully be able to combine Bohs and Guinness again this year Smile

We are staying in Motel One at the main station and will be after the game in the bar 60zu40 at the Schlachthof... See you there...

I think there are some Germans living in the North and the Republic who went to some games, don't know whether they follow one team more closely. One lives somewhere in the outskirts of Dublin and started to post match reports in the German st.pauli forum.

I am coming over next Jul 31 with at least 2 other stpauli supporters, but we'll only stay one night and will then head for Belfast so nothing more than an beer possible.

Back to topic: Motel One doesn't sound too bad. Guess I'll book a room there.
Will become one of my most expensive st.pauli-away trips anyway, 27 Euro for a seat in Wiesbaden... Evil or Very Mad

Why do you pay these price of 27 Euro?!
There are still terraces in Wehen-Wiesbaden and they only cost 11 Euro so you choose it by yourself to go on the seats.
