Carlisle Utd v AFC Bournemouth
Fingers and everything else crossed.
Seemingly our southern guests are travelling up in numbers. This is real football. If I had the money I'd buy them all a drink.
Premiership my arse. |

Might have fancied popping over Bri.....
Just about to set off for Gateshead International Stadium for Gateshead v Buxton in the final of the Unibond Premier playoffs instead. A place in the Conference North and derbies against Blyth at stake! _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Gateshead 2-0 Buxton
Two second half goals from ex-NUFC players (Kris Gate and Paul Brayson) means Conference North footy for Gateshead next season. Despite being a Blyth supporter, I don't share the usual hatred for them with most green & whites. In fact, I quite like them! _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Bri didn't think you were going or I'd have gave you a shout. If there's any B/Mouth fans on here that travelled up I'd just like to say your support was fantastic.
As for us bring on Leeds!!!

In fact I would be tempted to go to see them play the mackem reserves in the final of the Durham Senior Cup on Tuesday at the SOS but I'd have to burn my shoes afterwards.
When is the game against Leeds at Brunton Park? Tickets will be like gold dust. I quite fancy going to the Darlo v Rochdale playoff game as well. I guess it will be easier to get tickets for that one! _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

Sorry jaap I should have called. I went along with my lads, a neighbour and his lad.
I might struggle with the home leg, Mrs brido is away so I'll have to sort out a babysitter. If I can make it do you and Les fancy meeting up? |

Sick as the proverbial hound.
Two games. Two goals. Both last minute.
We weren't as good as Monday to be sure. Looked increasingly tired and unable to close anyone down. I knew as soon as Howson picked the ball up for the winner he had too much space.
Shame we couldn't sell the place out but BP was the most rocking I've seen it during most of the 2nd half. Losing in extra-time would've been easier to take.
Might go to Partick Thistle for a pre-season. |

Bri it was good to meet at last ,even tho' it was a quick craic over the fence at half-time, I'm absolutely gutted (it's took me all day yesterday to come to terms with it) but I'm looking forward with optimism to next season. We'll have to get together next season.
Tigerbomb you're dead right as soon as Freedman laid the ball off to Howson it had goal written all over it.
Jags away I'm up for that!!! _________________ Ae we taking over or are we taking orders!!! |

The Jags match is the 19th July. If I'm not running around like an eejit because of kids, work etc, I'm going. Speak to you nearer the time. Cheers.
Jaap, good to meet you mate. We have had a good season and we should all be very proud of our progress, disappointed but proud. |
