I think someone on the old board had a link for a useful site that explained what the various german names translate to i.e. wacker, eintracht..etc as well as a list of the german equivalent of english football phrases: offside, penalty,stop pissing on my shoe...
Appreciate if anyone's saved it if they post the link.
