John has already mentioned this in the London Get Together thread but I thought I'd give it it's own space. Apparently RTL are sending a TV crew (that's television before you dig out the gladrags Maid Michele) to Zeitgeist for the Germany Crotia game on Thursday. Apparently they want to film some Brits supporting Germany. At the moment all they're likely to get is two Pompey fans supporting Niko Kranjcar. Anyone care to join us?

apparently it was mayhem on Sunday so I will definitely give this a miss

Not only do I find very crowded rooms quite hard to take, I also prefer to actually see the game and get my hands on a beer every now and then.

As much as I am at peace with being German and even manage to support our national team these days, I don't think I'm ready to watch a Germany game in a room full of expats just yet Wink

oh, and the other reason is that I work til 6.

i heard from a colleague who lives in vauxhall it was mayhem on sunday as well.

Will you stay for the second match, Austria v Poland? i can't make it in time for first, but wouldn't mind watching the second one in the pub, IF i could take someones number and find out there was room to move in pub!

if you fancy coming into town, we watched the Holland game in wetherspoons in chancery lane and it wasn't busy, but would the pub be full of Poles for Austria v Poland?

Not anti Polish, just supporting Austria and don't want to go anywhere that's heaving.

I don't intend to stay for the second game. Lurking too long in Zeitgeist tends to have disasterous effects on me. Embarassed
