The whole Capitalist system looks to be under pressure

Stagflation - Low growth and high inflation is back
Stock Markets - Have fallen more than 10% in the last couple of months. Surely a crash is now on the way as corporate profits plummet.
Financial Institutions - Are in melt down. Northern Rock, rights issues for distressed banks, some of America's best known finance houses in ruins.
The Unions - Have found a new confidence for the first time in the post-Thatcher era
House Prices - Greedy speculators are in serious trouble and face their own homes being repossessed.
Commodity Prices - Through the roof.
Energy Supply - Can it be long before we have power cuts in the uk once more.

Could all this be an opportunity for the forces that desire a more equitable and sustainable society?

Feel the pain you filthy Capitalists.

Jack Sparrow, the only people that really WILL feel the pain are those employees that will be made redundant in an attempt to get profits on course again. And most likely, they won't be those in the boardroom nor any other managers.

As much as I can't resist tears of laughter when I hear of job cuts in the City, for example - the problem and its consequences are a bit more complex than "a few filthy rich shareholders lose a lot of money"

Eventually, the people that get hit most of the crisis will be those that never benefited from the good times in the first place.

I recently have been one of those people to suffer the pain of redundancy. However, until the fultility of capitalism is exposed to the masses we cannot sweep aside this disgusting system that puts profits before people. It's a nice change to see shareholders suffering. They are the people who are prop up and propogate the expoitation of workers.

The fultility of capitalism won't be exposed to the masses.

People will look out for scapegoats and find them. Or they will be guided to find them.

Has happened before, will happen again.

The chance to lift mankind on a greater level was wasted by social democratic traitors back in 1918/19.
