I see Newcastle have signed an Argentinian who puts on a spiderman mask and pretends to shoot webs at people when he scores.

Looks like he will fit in well with you crazy Geordies.

5 goals in his last 95 appearances. It won't be that often if he's playing for us. He's an 'exciting' winger apparently. Laughing
BTW I can't believe Barton hasn't been sacked Shocked Crying or Very sad

Don't know about assists but reputable sources say his biggest asset is his speed. Apparently while he's fucking quick at getting down the wing, the quality of his crossing is unconfirmed.
I know he's a midfielder Anth, the discussion about his goal scoring record came about because of his 'famous' celebrations afterwards. Smile
How's Rouen?

My grasp of the Norwegian language is extremely basic.
I've just returned from playing at a music festival there and had 'gist-read' what appeared to be conflicting reports in two Norwegian papers (printed on the same day) regarding Per Ciljan Skjelbred's possible move from Rosenborg to Newcastle.
Can anyone clarify?

Nothing at all to do with football but on Sunday morning I was having breakfast, in a hotel almost 1000metres above sea-level, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, with Johnny Cash's old piano-player (Earl Poole Ball - who also played on The Byrds' "Sweetheart Of The Rodeo" album) and Merle Haggard's lead guitarist Redd Volkaert.
Today, I'm back at work in, ahem, Oldham!
Funny old world, eh!

One of many players linked to the Toon. His agent says he's interested, apparently because he's always been a Newcastle supporter, more likely he smells money, his club says he's not for sale. Newcastle remain silent on the matter.
I've learned not to believe ANY rumours of signings (until they actually sign) since Douglas Hall's infamous Roberto Baggio hoax in the 90s.
