Hello all, i support my home town club Melbourne Victory in a recently created business over here in Australia.
I am posting here because i hope to see Sankt Pauli later this year.
If someone could point me in the right direction in regards to match ticketing it would be much appreciated.
Umm any questions regarding Melbourne are also welcome.
Here is a nice video from before a final.

Hi.
What do you want to know?
A quick trawl around the Board should provide answers to most questions.
Have a look at The Fanladen thread.

Welcome indeed.
Saw Melbourne Victory twice in January when i was in Melbourne for the AO and was impressed with the support.
Home match against Wellington on the Friday night and then flew to Sydney for the final league game, ended up buying a ticket for the home end.
Very impressed with the away support as well, around 3,000 i thought from Melbourne and they were superb, it was just silent in the home end when you got the equaliser.
So respect to the Victory fans, people couldn't quite believe it when i told them of the sheer hatred between the two.
That game in Sydney was the best atmosphere i'd witnessed outside of German games for a long while and it's a day i'll remember for a long long while-especially after just climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge..
Great city Melbourne, also done a few grounds in Melbourne- South, Knights, Kingston City, Northcote City, Springvale, Bentleigh Greens . _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Hi
I am hoping for some advice on whether it would be better to book tickets online or easy/easier to purchase tickets when i arrive in the country.
I am staying 2-3 weeks, standing sections prefered. |

It is fair to say that we don't get along
Fair play to them though was the best support i have seen from em yet, the A league needs more rainy days like that.
The Wellington game had some teething problems, was the first game back after season long protests. |

Will be over in Melbourne again for the AO in January, so i'll probably be heading to the home game on Jan 16th against Central Coast Mariners & also Jan 23rd against Wellington Phoenix.
Also will be catching a few games in the Hellenic Cup as well, but have already been to both venues(Northcote City and the Darebin SC)
My only chance of a new ground this time will be when the Victorys' youth team will be at home on the 17th at Epping.
If you fancy a chat about St Pauli ete etc give me a shout nearer the time
Good luck against S****y on the 27th _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Where you from mate?
With a bit of luck the Woman's league grand final could be in Melbourne on the 17th as well!
Epping Stadium is in the middle of nowhere (paddocks) & public transport is poor.
A RSL shuttle bus used to run from Epping train station.....i guess otherwise try your luck with me. |
