Not had that Leffe product! I have had the Blonde, Brun, Tripel and Radieuse. The Tripel is my favourite but I'll look out for the other one.

The Bodega has Leffe Blonde on draught but I try to avoid it as it does hammer the brain cells when yer out on a session.

Ah yes, Christmas beers. Something we don't get enough of in the UK (Though a couple of smaller breweries have tried it - Moorhouses for example).
Also, when I've been to Belgium, I've noticed some brands that appear to be Scottish (eg Campbells and Gordons) who also do Christmas beers but I've never come across them in Scotland which is a little odd.

Gordon's Scotch Ale used to be brewed by S&N in Newcastle believe it or not! It was brewed in slate squares at the Gallowgate plant and was only sold in France and Belgium. The reason being because of its high alcohol content the tax on a 330ml bottle would have pushed the price beyond the means of the target punters in this country. Fucking crazy! Rolling Eyes

I had the Gordon's Finest Gold in the summer which is a cracking pale ale with an ABV of 10%.
I love xmas beers too. I particularly liked the ones done by Gale's, King and Barnes, Fullers, Castle Eden and Wychwood. Sadly some of these breweries are no longer producing beers. Nearer the season we should have a 'British Winter ale spotting thread'!
