The only thing that pisses me off about the defeat in Egenbüttel (I still cannot believe it!^^) is the fact that SV Lurup is still undefeated. F******CK!
FC St. Pauli II (2nd) - SV Curslack Neuengamme (3rd)
Saturday, 04.10.08, 3pm
Waidmannstraße, home ground of SC Union 03

A rather strange match ... arrived about 20 minutes late so I missed the goal by Bussu. St.Pauli the stronger team but without being able to score again. Though Curslack got stronger, I didn't think they could score til the 80th minute when they did after some confusion in our defence. The team couldn't use some very good opportunities in the following minutes, but in the 93rd we got a corner and somehow the ball got into the net - 2:1 and we deserved it.
Btw: the match in Bergedorf was postponed til December. So the nextwill be against old rival "Scheiß-Cordi" on October 18. _________________ Irish Folk&Rebel from St.Pauli:

Was also at the game. Totally agree with Astro, St.Pauli shoulöd have scored 1-2 more goals in the 1st half.
Anyway, the goal which decided the game was an own goal scored by Curslack's Pichinot. Quite funny as he had a try out with St.Pauli's first team during the week before the match. |

Anyone ever been to Meiendorfer SV? It looks a bit out of the way!
Any idea of transport routes?

The closest train station is Farmsen. With U1 (blue line) less than 20 minutes from central train station. From Farmsen, there is a bus going straight to the ground, might be roughly another 10 minutes.
anyway, if I am in Hamburg that weekend I'll go there as well so you could join or just go with the other 200-300 that I'd expect if the weather is alright. |
Just in case anyone is over for that one: my description was wrong, it was based on outdated information!

I missed the 4:0 at home against Concordia - lay in bed with fever and my girlfriend was there to look after me
But I was at the away match in Meiendorf on Sunday. Meiendorf, a village just outside Hamburg is at the top of the table right now, 2 points ahead of us, but we have played one match less. Thus it was the top match of the weekend. Quite alright small football ground, total attendance a bit more than 800 in lovely autumn sunshine, about 10-20 Meiendorf hooligans present as well, belting out ridiculous and abusive chants throughout the 2nd half.
The match finished 3:3 and some of our youngsters should question their own attitude and motivation towards playing football. we clearly lost 2 points there. Best players were Zekiri who scored all three goals for us and Bussu who was active all the time and showed his abilities. Daube was a disaster, never found into the match. Hey, that's the fecking 5th league and most of them dream of the 2nd!!
Looking forward to next Saturday - first match with the new Amateure scarfs and hopefully 3 points again ;) _________________ Irish Folk&Rebel from St.Pauli:

Seen a photo on the offical St Pauli site of supporters of the u23 holding up scarves at the game.Astro are they your flock? |
well, my face is on the picture ;)
It was a special occasion - some might know Norbert of FC42. He organised the design and order of special "St.Pauli Amateure" (U23) scarfs. About 150 people ordered and today was the first home match since the arrival of the scarfs, so a group picture was taken of everyone who ordered a scarf (and was present at the match, naturally) during halftime.
The scarf shows the slogan "Alle hin da!" meaning something like "let's all go there". The number of supporters showing up at the matches of the U23 declined in the past. Those who still went started to use that slogan to motivate more people to join them and it already shows some effect.
This is how the scarf looks like:
This should be the photo you saw in the forum: Only registered users can see links on this forum! Register or Login on forum! |
btw: the scarf thing was almost the most interesting about the match. Against Voran Ohe (right at the bottom of the table) St.Pauli dominated but not much worked out. No structure, no concentration. It was keziri again who scored the goal of the day. Attendance: about 300. _________________ Irish Folk&Rebel from St.Pauli:

I'll doubt that:
30.11.2008 14.00 Uhr FC St. Pauli - FC Ingolstadt 04
But:
29.11.08 13:30 Halstenbek- Rellingen FC St. Pauli II
;)
I'll have to see how I'll organise all that. Will most likely have my girlfriend over from the 28th and she might be a wee bit pissed off if I'll run to football matches all the time. And there'll be my birthday party on the 29th
But good to hear that you'll be able to stay in HH!! _________________ Irish Folk&Rebel from St.Pauli:

I intended going to the Meiendorfer SV game but as ever there were more temptations in St Pauli itself ( I couldn't help following a very well endowed topless lady into Zum Goldenen Handschuh).
Just noticed there's going to be an international game at Millerntor! Germany's U18 team are playing Austria U18 on 18 November - should be a good occasion.
