Looks like Pompey will probably play Wolfsburg on 23 October (fixtures announced in 10 minutes). I want to book flights very quick. Can anyone confirm what day (time) St Pauli play on weekend of 24 October (kicker.de) does not say which day.
Cheers,
Dunc |

It'll probably be a 49/49 chance between the Friday or Sunday, with a very slight chance it'll be the Monday. |

According to Kicker it's on Sunday - although a time is not given.
So 26.10.08
FC St. Pauli - SV Wehen Wiesbaden
According to St Pauli website it's Sunday at 2pm
26.10.08 14:00 FC St. Pauli SV Wehen Wiesbaden _________________ Der Junge von St. Pauli der hat die Welt geseh'n

The fixture isn't confirmed. The German Football association has told to confirm the fixtures after the UEFA - Cup fixtures are notified. |

where on the St. Pauli homepage does it say that?
NONE of the fixtures beyond 19/10/2008 have been confirmed so far _________________

If you click through the ticket buying process it usually lists a day rather than a weekend that unconfirmed matches 'take place'. I don't know whether this represents the preferred date for the club - but can then be changed by the league?
For the game I want to go to they have TuS Koblenz down as the Friday night - which would be great, but who knows what the league will come up with?
I'm just hoping they are sensible and confirm the remaining batch of fixtures up until Xmas soon. |

Petruschka -
Click on Profis - then under the additional Profis heading, click on Spieltag, then 9. Spieltag on the drop-down menu.
I copied and pasted the details from the website around 12.15 this afternoon. The page freezes when I try to open it now, so I can't confirm what is currently there.
The entry under Spielplan shows :
9. Spieltag 24.-26.10.2008 FC St. Pauli SV Wehen Wiesbaden Tickets
Confusion rules.
The Wiesbaden website is equally contradictory:
So, 26.10.08, 14:00 FC St. Pauli - noch ohne exakten Termin SV Wehen Wiesbaden
So much for GERMAN EFFICIENCY. _________________ Der Junge von St. Pauli der hat die Welt geseh'n

Hope you didn't book your flights too early!! That's the weekend Pompey are away in BRAGA!! Chance to head to the Morrocan bar again!!
You'll be wanting to know when the Koblenz game is being played - 5th, 6th or 7th of December, as we play Wolfsburg away on the 4th!
And we've got AC Milan playing at Fratton Park in an European Competition - wow!
So, as the Koblenz game is not until December I don't expect the DFB to confirm dates until at least November! I'm going to hedge my bets and book for Monday morning!
Have Fun,

indeed
this is just rotten.
As if the shit-ness of the football authorities when it comes to announcing fixtures in due time wasn't enough (and just when you thought it couldnt get any worse, it gets worse...I mean, what's next - playing the game and telling us afterwards??) the clubs/major footie sites don't help much by confusing everyone regarding the dates.
As much as I assume that this is because their databases/content management systems don't cater for timespans, only for specific dates, this should be pointed out SOMEWHERE
To literally translate a German saying "I couldn't eat as much as I want to puke" (and I can eat a lot...) I've had it up to here with the fixtures!!!
ARRGH!!
if the news report about an axe-wielding maniac outside German footie bigshots' offices - that's me _________________

And it will get much better in the near future:

For Second Division this will mean two games on Saturday noon. So:
3 matches on Friday 18:00
2 matches on Saturday 13:00 (or even 12:00?)
3 matches on Sunday 13:00
1 match on Monday 20:15
For the Bundesliga
1 match on Friday 20:30
4 matches on Saturday 15:30
1 match on Saturday 18:00
1 match on Sunday 15:30
2 matches on Sunday 17:30
It's going to be fucking great!I know why I love capitalism... _________________ keep Everton in our city!
