This game takes place on 12th December and I've noticed that theres loads of options to get to Frankfurt. The question are whether this is a suitable game to take my 5 year old son (who is often bemused that I make him wear a st paili t shirt)? and whether it would be easy to get tickets for this game?
* also dependent on whether the credit crunch swallows me whole before december _________________ freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice... Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality

I can't imagine tickets will be a problem Jack. FSV have been playing at Eintracht's Stadium and getting crowds of around 9,000. I think the capacity is over 50,000.
Check with the Fanladen for tickets in the away end though.
Cheers. _________________ Lost your love of life? TOO MUCH APPLE PIE! |

I knew that FSV were redeveloping their ground but didnt know they were playing at Eintracht. Shame because big stadiums with small crowds don't really do it for me. _________________ freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice... Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality |

Yeah, know what you mean. My cousin lives in Frankfurt and the FSV ground is just round the corner from his place so this game would have been ideal for a visit if they were playing there. Not to mention the Christmas markets being on too. However, I'm put off for exactly the same reason as you.
Mainz or Wiesbaden will probably be better options to tie in with a flight to Frankfurt but tickets maybe harder to come by...... _________________ Lost your love of life? TOO MUCH APPLE PIE! |

That's strange, I thought the Holy Trinity was Bristol Rovers, St Pauli and Fishponds Athletic. _________________ freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice... Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality |

it's not that expensive, and is an OK bus ride, i've been to frankfurt with them twice before.
and i get terravision bus to stansted rather than the expensive trains.
plus am going for 4 days as a close friend lives there. |

Going to this one as well. Out from Stansted to Hann Thursday lunchtime, back Monday. Might see some of you there. |
