If we can't get at least a point away against Augsburg, then where can we? They're 2nd bottom, have lost their last five games, and have one of the worst offensive records in the 2nd Bundesliga this season, one goal per game on average.

Trojan is still out, so we may start in the same formation as against Aachen, which would be OK.

What would be amusing is, if we go ahead, there may be a coming together of Augsburg and St. Pauli fans chanting, "Fach raus!" Holger Fach, the Augsburg coach, is understandably not too popular among their fans at the moment, and when he was at Paderborn, he described St. Pauli fans as "anti-social". Let's hope for some bonding today, and a point or three. Wink

If their coach gets into trouble with the ref I'll try and start a chant of 'Fach Off'.
Oh dear, someone call me a taxi...

I was waiting for that!

Half time here, and Augsburg look awful. Even so we've created very little and the chances we have made we've managed to squander. Hopefully we'll blunder (not a typo, I didn't mean plunder) a goal in the second half. If we can get our noses in front I can't see Augsburg getting back in it.

1-0 Ebbers!

I have an uncanny knack of tuning in to Bwin just as a goal is scored (usually it's an opposition goal!)

missed the first goal, but there's just been 2 goals in 2 minutes- the equaliser for Augsburg and then a 2nd for St PAuli - tall blond chap! Didn't notice his name.

3-2 to Augsburg. 92nd minute.

Free kick that didn't need to be given away. Hain blunders.

FT.

This ability to screw things up is, I suspect, not one of the reasons we all love St Pauli! Rolling Eyes

Their manager looks smug.

and of course 2-3 .. oh fuck.

Tommy Cooper school of defence. What a wall. It would have been superb against bending free-kicks - but there was rather a large gap in the centre - which is where the shot went.

Just what do they teach Stani in Köln? How to drink Kölsch?

Oh bum -

Didn't look like a freekick to me but there you go.... We should have won that comfortably. Hope the reggae cheers me up - I'm off now!
