Really the team ought to make up for last Sunday's disaster with a convincing win tonight, but looking at Wehen's position in the table, and knowing what St. Pauli are like, I'm tipping a draw. Rolling Eyes

At least Trojan's back, so it'll be interesting to see what he and Hoilett can do to the Wehen defence - if they both play, that is. Offski.

We simply have to win these home games because of our total ineptness on the road.

Should be 3 points...but as you say...this is St Pauli we are talking about.

The first goal bounced favorably to Brunnemann but he finished superbly

2-0 Fabian Boll

Missed both goals live but seen the replay.

Schultz on for Howlett.

That's it. 2-0 the final.

With Rostock, Furth and Aachen all drawing and Ahlen and Inglostadt losing in the places directly around us, we should move to a safer position this week.

I thought Barney was superb tonight. Also a refreshing change from the defence adopting the "hump it clear" approach, as opposed to the "try to play something clever even when under pressure" which contributed to last week's problems. Well done to the coaching staff and the players.

Hi JohnnySpot,
Can I just compliment you on your Flying Spaghetti Monster avatar? As a Physics teacher I fully support your stand against the creationist knobheads who are doing so much educational damage in the US. Keep on!

hardly ever seen such a weak team at the Millerntor... should have finished 3:0 or 4:1. Whatever, now it's Duisburg next and if the trend will continue, we'll get at least one point there.

Back from the cold and into the hot hot bath Cool

PS: when the team made its round on the pitch after the end of the match, they got "Auswärtssieg" chants from every corner Very Happy I expect that they understood the message Twisted Evil
