It's on from Wednesday to Friday next week. I'm going on the Friday afternoon. Anyone else going to be there?

Dunno where it is mate. I could pass by and say hello for an hour or so as that's my rostered day off ( and it gives me a good excuse to ignore my overdue employment law essay...) Rolling Eyes

Let me know.

I love beer festivals anywhere anytime but this one's too far away considering I'd have to get there from work!!

Otherwise I'd be there...... Mmmm beer......

It's in a place called the Camden Centre which is sort of tucked into Camden Town Hall. The entrance is round the back in Bidborough Street. Camden Town Hall is opposite St Pancras Station.

Just picked this up now. Will try to get there for about five pm. No idea how we'll recognise each other though, but I'll wear a Totenkopf beanie and carry a rolled-up copy of Men Only to make it easier for you (well, maybe not that last bit actually...)

Just got home and read your post having left at, you've guessed it, about five. Have to say a bit of a subdued afternoon. Very quiet compared to previous years. I was wearing a St Pauli training top and was asked by one bloke if "that is Hamburg's second team". Soon put him right on that one. Completely ignored by two blokes in Celtic shirts despite them passing close by and me acknowledging them!

My fault for not checking the site more frequently. I was over an hour late anyway, so I felt pretty guilty until just now...

Couldn't go this year as I was taking antibiotics for a dental problem (which still hurts!)
I'll have to make up for it at Olympia...

I think I read somewhere that the GBBF is at Earls Court this year. I'll check it out and post nearer the time.

The London Drinker is on the last Wednesday to Friday in March (28th to 30th?). I'm going on the Friday afternoon again if anyone's interested.

how come you always go in the afternoon, what have you got against going in the evening?
i will probably go 2 of the evenings straight after work, (I finish at 5) but don't know which ones.

No mystery here - if Roger goes in the evening he doesn't need to "bunk" work!!! Laughing Laughing
