is in progress as well.

So, can I book for the 11 and 12 April?!

I presume match tickets are included in a booking for the hostel? ;-)

We start taking bookings now.....
Have been to the formerly flat yesterday, looks weird but the renovating team is highly motivated and has started.

There is a nice and big balcony above the Jolly Roger. We will lift the cup there in the end of April.

Tickets are not included but you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the loud and noisy atmosphere from the Millerntor stadium and the floodlights will blend you.

Great stuff! Sounds a new perfect location. Do you have room for two stag parties on the 26 May weekend then?! What have you let yourself in for!?

What is the email for bookings (for 11 and 12 April)? I sent something to an email last week, but I'm not sure it was the correct address.

Good luck,

Duncan

There are vacancies for the half final but nothing left for the last game of the season. One supporters club was faster and there are not so many rooms that we can hold two big groups.

Thanks Heiko. Request for six beds for 11 and 12 April coming your way now!

Shame there is no space for the last game of the season.

Any Arsenal-supporters or groundhoppers, that are in need of a cheepīn cozy place for their Champions-League-Stay in Hamburg?
There are still many beds available in our new hostel!
For those who havenīt been here before: the hostel is in sight of the Millerntor-Stadium, the best pub in town just downstairs. You can get to the AOL-Arena by public bus in 15 Minutes. The Reeperbahn will take you a 3 minute walk, as long as you can avoid the pubs on the way there...
For reservation-requests just write an e-mail:

Heiko (or anyone else on here that has been there), please can you tell me a bit more about the hostel? How many beds are available and what are the fees? Also what facilities are there - bathrooms, cooking facilities, is breakfast available etc? Any other information you can think of.

Trying to organise my stag do for the weekend of the 12th of May.

Thanks!

I stayed there last season and can offer the following (alcohol induced) recollections;

there are three rooms;

1 has a double bed and a bunk (and a St Pauli rose style tattoo mural - I think)
1 has 4 bunks (and a silhoutte mural of the Millerntor and harbour)
1 has 3 bunks (and punk album covers on the walls)

There is a shower room which has three shower cubicles, a couple of toilets and some wash basins. No Cooking facilities and no Breakfast icluded.

Can't remember the exact price, but it was about 'dirt cheap!'

The rooms were all clean and tidy (although it had only recently opened) and the hostel is situated above the Jolly Roger, so a breakfast beer was never far away ;o))

If the little buggers on my Stag Do had got their arses in gear sooner we would have definintely stayed there - I can thoroughly recommend it.

Hope this helps a bit.

Have Fun,

Urbs.

For breakfast on a Saturday morning there's a place amost opposite the JR which does a very good buffet. it's called Feuerstein (or something similar).

Sunday morning there's Max near the hauptbanhoff.

If you're looking for something less healthy you can get a decent fry up at Finnigans Wake which is near the Rathaus.
