I meant to start this thread a few months ago as a bit of popbitch-style "Hoffwatch" fun when, stumbling into Greenwich Station late for work with a hangover, I passed a tall bespectacled individual with a pram sporting a St Pauli beanie...
Yesterday at approx 08:45 on the Bakerloo Line my partner spotted a tall bespectacled guy with a St Pauli t-shirt. Being a shy type she didn't acknowledge you but felt very proud to know why you were wearing it.

Expect to see plenty of St Pauli clobber around Edinburgh Old Town tonight as St Jude's Infirmary are playing at Cabaret Voltaire. 7-quid on the door, Gummi Bako of the Fence Collective are also on the bill, along with My Tiny Robots and/or Money Can't Buy Music (depending on whose website you believe).
Worth checking out if you are in or around Auld Reekie and have nothing already planned. |

Monday around 3:45pm. Him - black totenkopf shirt, black carhaart jacket, black hair on the down escalator at Waterloo reading a paper.
Me - brown totenkopf shirt, carhaart shorts, redhair and red eyes after a 36 hour weekend shift in a f*cking field followed by an early start first thing.
I would have yelled but I couldn't even form the words I was that knackered. So if that was you... lucky escape! _________________ Lover, Poet, Philosopher, Drunk and Bore...All in five easy pint shaped pieces. |

Imagine my suprise tonight when i went to see my local side Ramsgate
play and to see some St Pauli 2004-05 newspaper progs !
Not only am i the only St Pauli fan in Ramsgate who follows the locla team, it was a real shcock to see them in our club shop.
Amazingly, two of them were the games i'd been too as well(Union and Dusseldorf)
What are the chances of that happening eh.... _________________ He didn't go round nowhere, i just sent him round ! |

Should have posted this on this thread a couple of weeks ago.
About 2 weeks back. Just dropped off the mrs outside Scotish Widows HQ on Morrison St, Edinburgh for her work. Bloke with dark hair and a black totenkopf t-shirt walking by. I would have tooted but at that time in the morning my reaction times are not the greatest.
Was it anyone on here? |

I really must wear my St. Pauli stuff more...
when I moved over here more than a year ago, I actually addressed everyone I saw wearing St. Pauli stuff - always very excited about seeing people wearing my club's gear in London
A lot of them reacted a bit "urgh...what does SHE want from me??" and quite a few didn't even care about the club that much, they just thought the Totenkopf range was cool
So these days I stick to just nodding to them and saying something like "nice club"
unless, of course, I am at the beer festival.... _________________

I meant to add to this some while back too.
First was on Mare Street in Hackney - saluted by a gent whilst on my ride who was wearing a long sleeved t-shirt. Aplogies for not stopping that time...
Next was on the Holloway Road by a guy in a van. As I weaved through the traffic on my bike I was actually expecting abuse, but was cheered to find that this wasn't the case - he spotted my top.
Two weeks ago, a woman on my very street was sporting a track top, but was deep in conversation so thought I'd leave her to it.
And lastly, Thursday last week, near the Duomo in Milan where I saw a young gent showing those well-groomed Milanese how it should be done in his 'Wir sind Pokal!' t-shirt. _________________ Can you still have any famous last words if you're somebody nobody knows?
I don't know...
Somebody go and ask Claire - she's been dead twenty years - just look at her hair. |

On two seperate occasions at cricket matches. Admitedly one of the blokes I spotted at the Oval; Surrey v Northans a couple of Saturday's back was my mate so I don't suppose he counts and I was in Hamburg with him when he bought the top.
However the first one I spotted (brown t-shirt with club crest on it) was at the opening day of Lancashire v Yorkshire last season. Fortunately I had consumed a suitable amount of beer to go up to the bloke and talk to him, turned out he had just been in Hamburg and liked the top but didn't really follow the club. Oh well as Shaw Taylor on Ploice 5 used to advise 'Keep 'em peeled' _________________ Estudiantes; Striped shirts, black panties |

On the 18:12 Liverpool Street to Gidea Park train last Friday evening. Bloke wearing a Retter t-shirt in one of the carriages. He was deep in converation with a woman and I was legging it to get towards the front of the train before it left so I didn't accost him.
Someone I did accost though is the pillock who works for London Underground at Victoria who insists that St Pauli are a fascist team and gets quite upset if you argue with him. Had I not had my daughter with me it could have got quite lively. She later told me that she had poked her tongue out at him so that's OK. Reckon it's worth getting off the tube at Victoria wearing St Pauli stuff just to wind him up. I encountered him at the exit barriers from the Circle/District Line platforms. _________________ Hampshire ist Blau-Weiss |
