Great band!
During the time I spent in Texas, I saw them live once at a festival in Juarez, Mexico.
They polarise opinion amongst Mexicans residents in Texas as they are vociferously pro-EZLN (the Zapatistas). Understandably, many Mexicans in the US (as opposed to Tejano people or Hispanic Texans; some of whom can trace their roots in Texas back to before the Alamo) being either 'illegal' or just about legal don't want to 'rock the boat' too much.

Played two concerts in 2002 and 2003 in the autonomous social center (KTS - Freiburg) i was involved in for almost no money and were generally really nice guys who were very happy to talk radical politics.
Next time they were in town, guess that was they year after that, they were too big and filled a little arena and a ticket was 30 euros.... so I didn't go or have seen them ever after...

Two separate sightings in the tiny Ibiza resort of Cala Llonga last week (apart from my fanladen tshirt)...
1) Spanish DJ, wearing the 2-1 bayern shirt and carrying his box of records(?) on his way to a gig shouted 'Ay St Pauli!' across the street at me.
2) Celtic supporter wearing a zweiklassig tshirt on his apartment balcony having a tab

just got back from sylt, did lots of St Pauli spottting there! and i had my new st pauli womens team t shirt on when i was there as well, so perhaps i was 'spotted'.

perhaps not too surprisingly, tho i had been led to believe it was an enclave off Mercedes driving types, but that was just Kampen!

August 27, a bus station close to the old town of Riga, Latvia: a rather thin man with long hair and a St.Pauli t-shirt. was in a taxi so couldn't ask about any real connections to the club.

Connect Festival, Inveraray. Saturday night, watching the Gossip (from a sensible distance - that woman is sore on the ears at close range!) - bumped into a lad called Joe from Balloch. We both had Totenkopf T-shirts on. Turns out he's a season-ticket holder at Millerntor - goes over 3-4 times a season and his mates in HH make sure his ticket goes to a worthy individual when he's not there.

I asked him if he was on here - he said he knew about the forum but tends to stay off the internet due to its addictive qualities!!!

I let him know about the Murrayfield so hopefully we'll see him in there occasionally.

I spotted a beautiful woman lighting a ciggie with a St Pauli lighter at the weekend.

It was my girlfriend though Wink who was introduced to the politics of the club after I saw a fella at a festival in Austria wearing the stripy Astra shirt.

Whilst waiting at Stansted Airport in Friday night, i spotted a guy in the Braun tracksuit top, reckoned he may have been the same lad Tracy spotted at the England U21, as there were a lot of England fans at the airport on the night.
