Banning? Shocked Good God, no, Les!!!

To be positively encouraged more like.

One can only assume that the "Gorilla of Wisdom" had far better things to do that night..............probably still out on the lash, I suspect! Wink Wink

Given that FC United derives its support from Man United fans I don't see where City fans come into it.

If I said to you - "Where are the Rangers fans?" - in a Celtic-St.Pauli thread, what would you say?

Have you seen what happens if you try to wear an outfit that combines brown with lazer blue?! Its possible Kappa produced an away kit for city along those lines in the late 90s and perhaps its scarred their fans for life.

In all seriousness, I think there is a thread for city somewhere further down on this list of "your clubs". Don't think they will be spending much time on the FC bit though.

Well for me CELTICPAULI, Im not from Manchester, I travel every other weekend to watch FC United (and before that slightly less frequently, due to finances, to watch Manchester United). I only know a few city fans from round my way but they're not into St Pauli. No particular reason for that, they've either never heard of them or just aren't that fussed.

FC United which is made up almost entirely of Manchester United fans who won't go back to Old Trafford whilst Glazer is there, has quite a large number of St Pauli fans within its ranks. I think some of them are even off to the Antifascist World Cup thing too. No huge link there but I think if you like St Pauli for reasons apart from a perverse fetish for drawing games Wink (anticommerce, against racism etc) and are a United fan you are never going to be too adverse to FC and the reasons it was set up.

There are city fans who like St Pauli (see their thread) but Ive never met them. You will find on here an old story about a fight between St Pauli fans and some city "fans". I wasnt there and Im not going to sling sh1t about it. Every team has its idiots and evidently it hasnt stopped people being a fan of both teams. Fair do's. I can't stand city (from the constant bleating about postcodes whenever I meet a city fan right down to their dubious owner) but the nature of St Pauli means I'd struggle not to get on with anyone who believes in what its there for (as long as theres no mention of Big United's abject performance in the derby!).

Given that the two sets of fans have a deep hatred of each other I don't see why a United fan would be interested in City, its fans of their leanings.

Do St. Pauli fans keep abreast of their rivals interests?

Right now your turn (and once again completely FC-United unrelated – sorry Mods), how on earth did you settle on QPR when you are Greek/based in Greece? Laughing

This is not easy to explain without using a smilar phrase like "Having a pop at" which probably does not help you.

The easiest way to explain it would be to say that Mr Deacon was saying that he 'was not being hostile' to you with his comment.

By the way, I think your English is very good (certainly better than my Greek and better than my anything else for that matter!)

I am also curious about what got you to support QPR by the way.
