Hi all,

Just found this board via Wikipedia. I've been a Hammers fan since '81 and am a season ticket holder there. I also like Livorno as they are one of the few Italian clubs who supporters still have a Left/non-Racist reputation. I have been out there a few times and hope to again before the end of this season. First learnt about St. Pauli in conversation with some Livorno fans after a game.

Will read this board with interest and learn more about St. Pauli. They seem a fascinating club.

Cheers

Paul

Hi IronPaul

I'm also interested in Livorno and fancy a trip over in the near future. Maybe you can help me out if I get something planned.

Must be a Claret/Maroon thing going on here. West Ham, Livorno and Hearts.

Thanks

Due to the small matter of me getting hitched in the New Year I probably won't be able to make it out to another Livorno match before April/May but will definitely go then. The atmosphere there is incredible especially when a team with like Lazio/Inter or Verona are the opposition (i.e. with a lot of Fascist fans). Livorno is a tough old town and being a foreigner you are a bit of a novelty but if you wear colours you are OK. Depending on your politics the pictures of Stalin you see can be a bit off-putting but their hearts are in the right (or should that be 'left') place.

Best to fly into Pisa and if you fancy sightseeing then stay there or in Lucca but Livorno is cheap if you're just going for the game.

Paul

I have followed St Pauli since the days of their time in the bundesleague,
where one day they will be again. My son and I have supported West Ham
for about 10 years and Newport County has been my football team forever as they were the first club match I ever went to when I was 5 and Im now 55.
St Pauli RULE

I am also a Livorno fan. I have the shirt of my fav footballer Cristiano Lucarelli. It is a treasured posession of mine. Players like him, with morals, are a rare breed these days.
Wrexham/Livorno/Celtic/St Pauli................................Antifa forever.

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread since I'm a West Ham fan as well!
