Intriguing if a little odd design. I think it's pretty funky though what the Pompey hardcore will make of it, I'm not too sure!

Looks more like Noah's Ark.

Jesus! All those fucking animals!!! Shocked

Still it looks a tad more substantial than all those "flat-pack" stadia of recent years, and at least it's not out on some God-forsaken trading estate in the arse-end of nowhere!!!

Very ambitious....and, no, I'm not holding my breath!

Is that Portsmouth or Kuala Lumpur? And are those additional seats in that funny raised bit in the corner? Don't fancy the view from up there much...

No that's part of the block of flats which surround 3 sides of the ground!

It is indeed a remarkable looking structure -and IF it ever happens it will be fantatstic for both the football club and the regeneration of the city!

The designs are fantastic and, as WaddockHunt pointed out, so much better than the current crop of identikit stadiums placed by the side of motorways! There will be NO PARKING at the ground, meaning poeple will have to use public transport.

Ready for use by around 2012, so possible venue for Olympic Football (which wouldn't be unusual as Fratton Park was used for the last London Olympics!). However, I'm still expecting a new Millerntor before a new Fratton Park (or whatever they decide to call it!)

Have Fun,

Urbs

Aha! It all makes sense now. Looks good. Don't see why it can't happen - your Premiership status looks reasonably secure and I get the impression there is big cash coming in from your new owner? Also if there are flats all around it surely it will pretty much pay for itself, assuming the Pompey property market is as short on available property as most of the rest of the country...

Harry finally loses his marbles - Titus Bramble? Laughing He must never have seen Newcastle play! Makes Andy O'Brien seem like Beckenbauer in his prime!! Guarantees another 10-12 goals in the against column and at least one certain cup exit. No Harry NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

According to Titus's agent Celtic, Birmingham and Fulham are also interested in the walking disaster area. Yeah, right.

Two things!

1) Harry has a great record at turning players who have lost their way back onto the path of football glory

and

2) It's all a negotiating tool to get Distin on better terms! Look Sylvain this is what we're offering - if you don't like it, we've got Titus waiting!

Anyway - Press Conference tomorrow, still unsure on which signings will be announced. Probably 3, Sulley Muntari, Sylvain Distin and Titus Bramble (or Herman Hreidarson)

Have Fun,

Urbs

Aha! I see Harry spotted my video link and decided against signing Titus. Leaves the field clear for Celtic or Brum to step in? Wink

Indeed - that was me - unfortunately I can't get to as many games as I used to, and the stewards in the FE aren't as relaxed as the NT!!!

Have Fun,

Urbs
