Greetings from Omonia Nicosia, the biggest club in Cyprus and the ONLY 100% left wing/antifascist.
We,the clubs supporters are Gate9.Some of us in G9 are friends with the Green Brigade of Glascow Celtic,Ultras Hapoel of...Hapoel Tel Aviv(!) and FenerbahChe lads of...well you get the picture,Fenerbahce of Instanbul!
Looking forward to finally adding to my friends list some Sankt Pauli comrades!
If you want to,drop by to post your greetings at our forum!

A number of years ago I went to see Anorthosis Famagusta play in Larnaca. Can't remember who it was against but the atmosphere was very intimidating. There was a 15 minute pause in play because of fighting amongst rival fans - I think it was in reaction to some violence on the pitch. Sorry this is a bit hazy, I was quite drunk at the time.
I ended up in some bars with the Famagusta fans who were very boisterous and very drunk. There didn't seem to be much in the way of politics discussed other than 'no-one likes us, we don't care' and I tagged along because of a couple of ex-pat QPR supporters who were there. Where do they stand in the political spectrum? Some years later I remember a waiter telling me that a lot of Cypriot ultras were left wing rather than right wing.

I'll be in Cyprus from 1st to 8th November, and am intending on taking in at least one game.
Any suggestions as to who I should visit?
