last night, i saw it on the St Pauli website, was that the first int'l match played there and how was it received seeing as the clubs fans are on the whole anti nationalist.

looked from one of the photos there were quite a few empty seats, but perhaps the junior teams are not as well supported in Germany as they are in England.

still, i have no problems with it and i guess it made the club a bit of money.

not much money... most tickets were give-aways to schools anyways...
There were USP flags at the game saying "Braun-Weiss statt Schwarz-Rot-Gold" Very Happy
there was quite a discussion going on about the game on the german board ...

Could you translate that for us please? I assume it means selling the Brown and white for gold or something?

Brown-white, not black-red-gold.

As in the German flag.

Not sure if it is the first international at millerntor, but I watched Estonia v Turkey for a friendly at Millerntor in 2006, just before the world cup.

maybe 15 Estonian fans including us and the rest turkey. Good friendly atmosphere apart from the small pitch invasion. Very safe especially since we were surrounded by most of Hamburgs finest boys in Blue (or green)
