Must admit I have never enjoyed the London drinker beer festival. I think it's the venue. Still I may chance my arm and see if anything has improved over the past couple of years.

It is too small, but all the festivals seem way busier than they used to be a few years ago.
I wish I could go in the afternoon, I guess you actually get a seat then?

Just thought I'd bump this up as this year's run kicks off on Wednesday. I'll be sticking with tradition and popping in for the Friday afternoon session even though my usual partner in crime has moved to Bath and so won't be there. Now, Bath? Is that in the West Country or am I getting my threads confused?

had something called pider at hitchin, a cross between cider and perry, which was very nice.

anyone else like cider and perry? as a specialist pub has just opened in central london.
