Despite whatever 'rules' are put in place to prevent 'sectarian' chants, there are, it would appear, elements that will always try to find ways of circumventing them.
The recent Rangers "Big Jock was a nonce!" type stuff (referring of course to the suggestion - it was only ever a suggestion - that Jock Stein 'turned a blind eye' to child abuse) is one notable example.

Offensive yes, but in what way is that sectarian? I agree though that some Celtic fans do seem to delude themselves into thinking that they have no sectarian/racism problem at their own club. Until that changes little will change.

Well, it's not sectarian - that was my point. It was a way of being insulting to Celtic without breaching the 'no-sectarian chanting' edict.

Er, naw they're no'. Celtic are a SCOTTISH club with Irish roots.

As far as I'm aware, they were founded in Glasgow (Scotland) and have ALWAYS played in the Scottish league.
