Procopio sacked and just one point above the bottom 4 with 3 games to go..... Sad

Could be even more tickets available next season!

Just to encumber you further, check out NAC Breda in Holland. Links with St Pauli and NUFC, left wing support (the famous Breda Rats), so a nailed on cert for me.[/quote]

I'll give them a look too mate.

One game to go and any of six clubs could take the last 2 relegation places - with the bottom two dead and buried (Granada COULD mathematically escape I suppose). Interestingly for this board Xerez and Cadiz are two of those six teams! Squeaky bum time indeed. Cadiz are away to Hercules (Alicante) and if they could have just snatched a goal today in the 0-0 home draw with Seville Athletic they would have been just about safe. Bugger.

Fuck it. A 1-1 draw not enough. Down to Segunda B in 3rd bottom place. Xerez survived though, so that guy who supports them should be pleased.

What makes it worse was that Cadiz were awarded a penalty deep into injury time. Paz hit the inside of the post, the ball rebounded down and hit the Alicante goalkeeper on the back and went out for a corner. Can't wait to see it on YouTube! Crying or Very sad

The difference between ecstasy and despair is so small in football.

You couldn't make it up could you? What was the keeper doing hiding behind the goal before the kick? Shame to see Cadiz go down.

Cadiz have won their first two games in Liga Segunda B. It's a long road back but they've taken their first steps...

And then a home loss but a victory over San Fernando 4-3. That must have been a fun game.

Well 9 point in the first four isn't a bad start at all.

Les

A couple of questions.

Presumably the Real Betis mentioned in the League table is either the second team of amateurs of Real Betis?

Secondly, I always wondered if there was a team in Guadalajara. Presumably it was their stadium used in the World Cup in Spain? Is so why do they have a stadium capable of holding World Cup matches but a crap team?

Yours in ignorance.
