Great band!
During the time I spent in Texas, I saw them live once at a festival in Juarez, Mexico.
They polarise opinion amongst Mexicans residents in Texas as they are vociferously pro-EZLN (the Zapatistas). Understandably, many Mexicans in the US (as opposed to Tejano people or Hispanic Texans; some of whom can trace their roots in Texas back to before the Alamo) being either 'illegal' or just about legal don't want to 'rock the boat' too much. |

Played two concerts in 2002 and 2003 in the autonomous social center (KTS - Freiburg) i was involved in for almost no money and were generally really nice guys who were very happy to talk radical politics.
Next time they were in town, guess that was they year after that, they were too big and filled a little arena and a ticket was 30 euros.... so I didn't go or have seen them ever after... |

Two separate sightings in the tiny Ibiza resort of Cala Llonga last week (apart from my fanladen tshirt)...
1) Spanish DJ, wearing the 2-1 bayern shirt and carrying his box of records(?) on his way to a gig shouted 'Ay St Pauli!' across the street at me.
2) Celtic supporter wearing a zweiklassig tshirt on his apartment balcony having a tab _________________ 'The tragedy of humanity is not in the script; the tragedy is that there is no script'

just got back from sylt, did lots of St Pauli spottting there! and i had my new st pauli womens team t shirt on when i was there as well, so perhaps i was 'spotted'.
perhaps not too surprisingly, tho i had been led to believe it was an enclave off Mercedes driving types, but that was just Kampen! |

last week, while I was walking from work to Aldgate East tube station, a bloke cycled past me down Commercial Street with a brown shirt with logo on it _________________
