First of all there's no probs wearing St Pauli colours in Brum or at Blues for that matter - we do for pretty much every home game.
As for Celtic or Wales, unlikely to be a problem either. There's always a few twats that wear Rangers stuff but you're unlikely to come across their bars. Oh and if you stick to Digbeth immediately after the game before the gig (I'll give you some directions), there's a load of Celtic boozers anyway.
Only advice would be avoid anything remotely wearing claret and blue!
Secondly, Prermier League is a vastly overrated pile of shit. But as we are now officially in crisis - and will be easy pickings for Pompey - there's bound to be an, erm, "interesting" atmosphere coming from our end mainly directed at the board. It's going to be bloody awful!! _________________ Martin Taylor is Innocent |

Well it looks like a manager of a top international team might shortly be available for employment... |

Are you implying that I'd have more luck unloading this free* Brownstock ticket if I didn't offer it together with the match ticket?
* free as in costs nothing whatsoever. Unless your conscience dictates you make a donation to the Boys in Brown. _________________ Lover, Poet, Philosopher, Drunk and Bore...All in five easy pint shaped pieces. |

It was a cracking night. Many thanks to Chris and the BBiB for the festivities. How much did you raise in the end? |

Right then!
A massive ta from all the BBIB to all those who made it down on Saturday! Hope y'all enjoyed yerselves as much as we did
And thanks to all from the board who couldnt make it but have kindly made a donation. You know who you are!
We are still working out the total raised, but it's going to be in the region of (drin roll) £2,500 / €3500. A big comedy cheque will be winging its way to Heiko early next week.
So thanks everyone for making Brownstock another success! Lets do it again next year... _________________ Martin Taylor is Innocent |

Top quality weekend.
Quality bands, banter and some decent beer.
We even survived the Black Country derby yesterday.
And thanks for going the extra mile and laying on that German market for us... |

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to say how much fun I had up in Brum. Had a great day, even if the Blues-Pompey game was a bit underwhelming.
Gig was fantastic and to come away with a signed shirt at the end was just perfect.
Cheers guys and see you at whenever the next event is. |

Bloody marvellous! Well done Chris and the rest of the "Boys". An excellent evening with lots of friendly "northern" people all speaking slowly to help us southern gits!!
A good crowd with some interesting bands. I considered engaging in conversation with the solo artist after his set, but decided against the idea as he would almost certainly go away and write a song about what a total fucking cunt I am!!!!
(Like I need such insight in song?)
Thanks to everyone for making it a great weekend. (Kranjcar - you know who you are!!)

A wee question I've been puzzling over since the Brownstock weekend:
St Pauli run out to Hells Bells by AC/DC
Brum City seem to have an equivalent - "What's she gonna look like with a chimney on her?" by Mousse T. (It was played as the teams ran out at the start of each half)
Has it occurred to you that this could be at the heart of the problems you've been having?
West Brom the following day had some rave nonsense - 2 unlimited or such like. At least it was a wee bit more uplifting. |

Believe me, it's better than last season when our ever so enlightened board decided that a medley of Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem, the Dambusters theme etc was just the thing to whip up a pre-match frenzy. Cue pandering to the neanderthals and much disgusted letter writing
It used to be Mr Blue Sky by ELO (Jeff Lynne's a Blues fan) - quite liked that in an ironic , guilty pleasures kind of way... _________________ Martin Taylor is Innocent |
